Frenchys Rockaway Restaurant is a GREAT restaurant, no doubt about it! Why? Both the visitors and locals LOVE to eat here. Expect a wait on the weekends as the locals fill the waterfront restaurant up! Is the wait really worth it? YES! :)

The view. Located ON THE BEACH! Seriously, it is on the
beach.
The restaurant jets out onto the beach almost giving it a 180 degree view of the beach. What a great place to watch the
sunsets
too! Just imagine yourself eating amazing seafood and enjoying a nice cold drink while watching a breathtaking sunset.
The food is excellent. Great selection of seafood - clams, shrimp, conch, tuna, grouper, and even typical "land" food like burgers and salads. I personally LOVE the blackened grouper sandwich, a good tasting fish that doesn't taste too fishy yetgives you that seafood experience. The calamari appetizer is to die for! You have to order it. My family gets it every time we go here. Even my young daughter LOVES it! My wife typically gets a "tropical salad." What's that, a tropical salad? Yes, they offer a few tropical food selections. The tropical salads that she truly enjoys are the tuna salad and the seafood salad in a tortilla shell. That's what she gets, one or the other out of all of our trips here.
The prices are not too bad, especially for this waterfront restaurant on Clearwater Beach. You think you would be paying top dollar, but it's not the case. Excellent food at decent prices - an overall good deal.
The service. While waiting for your table (chances are you will wait, especially during the summer months), you can walk up to the bar and start with a cold refreshing drink. They offer some good drinks. The staff makes your waiting experience as pleasant as possible, and with it on the beach you can still enjoy the scenery!
Frenchys Rockaway Restaurant is located on the northern end of Clearwater Beach. It is truly a waterfront seafood restaurant. With all that was mentioned above (view, food, prices, and service), this is truly one of the locals favorite spots to eat at.
